The Raisin Region Conservation Authority (RRCA) will be holding its 11th annual Family Fishing Day in conjunction with Ontario Family Fishing Week July 13th, 2012 from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the Gray’s Creek Conservation Area and Marina Complex (located at 18045 County Road 2). Every year this popular event allows a large number of children and parents the opportunity to fish, license free, along Gray’s Creek, free of charge. The RRCA along with its partners provide bait and the loan of fishing gear to those who need it. Other activities included during the festivities are games, a BBQ, education booths, a raffle, and a fishing tournament for the longest and heaviest fish.
