The annual Backus Heritage Children’s Fishing Derby is open to children 16 years of age and under. Young anglers can drop a line in the mill pond for a chance to win a great prize and maybe even catch the “Big One”. The Fishing Derby is presented in conjunction with Kids, Cops and Canadian Tire Fishing Days, Simcoe Canadian Tire and the Norfolk OPP Detachment. Admission is $3.00/child plus regular park entry.
