Valens Lake Annual Ice Fishing Derby is a catch and release derby for panfish species at Valens lake Conservation Area, just east of Cambridge, Ontario. The derby is hosted by the Hamilton Conservation Authority on February 15th and runs from sunrise to noon. There are lots of great door prizes and raffles as well as prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the Adult and Youth categories. There will also be hot drinks and food available for purchase.

Please note that for this derby you are required to bring your own equipment and drill your own holes.
