The Grand River Bass derby is a family friendly fishing event on the Grands River around Kitchener, Waterloo & Cambridge.
This year’s event will be held July 7 & 8 as part of National Fishing Week and the Ontario Family Fishing Weekend.
Prizes for the longest smallmouth bass include cash and prizes for youth and adult categories. As well there are hundreds of
draw prizes and a Grand Draw prize fishing charter for 6!
Our focus as organizers is to simply encourage people to get out and discover the joy of fishing outdoors with friends and family.
All proceeds from the derby go towards improving public access and local fishing opportunities.
