Hamilton Bassmasters hosting the 2013 Christie Lake Kids Fishing Day from 9am until 1pm.

This is a free event with regular park admission.

2 age groups: 7 and under, 8 to 14 years.

Club members will be on hand to share knot tying, techniques and rigging presentations.
Casting accuracy games, bass boats on hand to show the kids.
Each registered participant will receive a grab bag of lures and instructions on tying and fishing with them.
Additional prizes will be awarded in both age categories for biggest fish per species.

Conservation Authority members will be conducting a fish survey of all species caught.
