Valens Lake Conservation Area is gearing up for the 8th Annual Winter Ice Fishing Derby on February 15, 2014. The derby begins at sunrise; fish will be accepted till 2pm. So grab your gear and get out on the ice! There will be plenty of fun, laughs and great prizes. In the spirit of conservation, the fishing derby is strictly catch and release promoting a sustainable fishery for years to come.
